Job Description for Assistant Buyer
As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a vital role in supporting our Senior Buyer in sourcing trendy yet affordable clothing and accessoriies directly from our customers. You'll engage with our community, helping to keep our inventory fresh, exciting, and accessible to all.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Senior Buyer to assess the needs of our inventory and identify specific clothing and accessory items that are in demand among our young customers.

Engage with customers who bring in clothes and accessories to sell, providing friendly and helpful assistance while evaluating the quality and desirability of their items.

Determine fair and affordable pricing for items based on their condition, brand, and market demand, ensuring accessibility for our diverse customer base.

Maintain a welcoming and organized buying area, making the selling process convenient and enjoyable for our customers.

Keep detailed records of items purchased, including descriptions, prices, and any relevant customer information, using our inventory management system.

Collaborate with the Team to ensure that newly acquired items are creatively displayed and effectively promoted in-store and on social media.

Stay updated on youth culture, fashion trends, and pop culture references to accurately assess the market value and desirability of incoming items.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on providing excellent service and building rapport with diverse individuals.

A passion for fashion, VINTAGE styles & brands is a plus, pop culture, and staying ahead of the latest trends, with an eye for identifying sought-after clothing and accessory items.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.

Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately assess the quality and condition of clothing and accessories.

Proactive, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Proficiency in using Google Suite.
Job Description for Sales Associate
